I Worship You came out of a really heavy season in my life. I was dealing with pressure, emotional strain, and spiritual wrestling, the kind of internal battles that make you either run from God or collapse at His feet. This song became my choice to fall down in worship.
It’s a declaration that no matter the season, trial, storm, victory, or the quiet moments in between….
God is worthy of worship.
This track captures the heart of what Worshipcore means to me: worship in spirit, worship in truth, worship through fire.

đź“– Scripture Inspiration
This song is built directly from two foundational passages on worship (among others).
John 4:23 (NASB)
“But an hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.”
Romans 12:1 (NASB)
“Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.”
These verses hit me deeply during the time I wrote this. They reminded me that worship isn’t a song — it’s a life. It’s surrender. It’s sacrifice. It’s devotion. It’s choosing God in the midst of pain and pressure.
🔥 Song Meaning
I Worship You is a heavy worshipcore anthem of total devotion to God. The message is simple and direct:
- Worship through trials
- Worship through storms
- Worship through victories
- Worship because God is worthy
Every line in this song reflects my heart at the time — the desire to worship God sincerely even when life felt overwhelming. I wanted this song to capture what it feels like to choose God in the middle of real hardship, real emotions, and real spiritual battles.
This isn’t shallow praise.
This isn’t surface-level faith.
This is worship that comes from a place of pain and surrender — the kind the Bible says God seeks.
🎶 Lyrics
HOLY!!!
YEAHHH!
I lift my hands, I lift my voice,
in every breath, I make my choice.
To praise the One who gave me life,
to worship through the joy and strife!
Let every heartbeat sing Your name,
let every trial fuel the flame!
Ohhh!
True worshippers in Spirit and truth,
the Father seeks, He’s calling you!
With all my heart, my soul, my mind!
I worship You, O God divine!
A living sacrifice I’ll be…
Your glory burns inside of me!
Yeahhh!
Let everything that has breath proclaim
the mighty power of Your name!
This world may fade, its idols fall,
but You alone are Lord of all!
Every crown laid at Your feet,
every tongue cries “Holy!” in defeat!
Ohhh yeahhh!
Not empty words, not shallow praise,
but hearts surrendered all my days!
With all my heart, my soul, my mind!
I worship You, O God divine!
A living sacrifice I’ll be…
Your glory burns inside of me!
Yeahhh!
Let everything that has breath proclaim
the mighty power of Your name!
Worthy! Worthy! The Lamb was slain!
Forever exalted, forever reigns!
All creation bows, the heavens roar…
You are God forevermore!
Ohhh!
With all my heart, my soul, my mind!
I worship You, O God divine!
A living sacrifice I’ll be…
Your glory burns inside of me!
Yeahhh!
Let everything that has breath proclaim
the mighty power of Your name!
HOLY!!!
⚔️ Worshipcore Sound & Production Notes
When I created this song, I wanted it to feel like worship breaking through the middle of a storm.
- The intro feels like heaven opening before everything crashes in.
- Verse 1 sets the tone of intentional worship in every breath.
- The screams emphasize the intensity of real devotion.
- The chorus is pure worship: lifted, soaring, and unashamed.
- Verse 2 contrasts the fading world with the eternal glory of God.
- The bridge is a thunderous declaration of Christ’s supremacy.
- The final chorus is designed to feel like surrender and celebration at the same time.
This is one of the songs where the sound, message, and Scripture all came together naturally with the perfect mix of heaviness and worship.

🙏 Behind the Creation
This song came out of a very real season of trial for me. I was under a lot of weight emotionally and spiritually, and this became the track where I decided, intentionally:
I am going to worship God through this.
Not after.
Not once everything is fixed.
Now.
Right here.
Every lyric was born out of:
- Wrestling through hardship
- Reflecting deeply on Scripture
- Pouring genuine emotion into the writing
- Choosing to honor God publicly and boldly
This song was somewhat of an anchor for reminding me of my faith and a turning point in how I express worship through heavy music.
