I wrote this track to capture the emotional weight of crying out to God at your lowest point. It’s for the person who has tried everything the world offers: money, relationships, numbing the pain… and found it all empty.
The shift in the lyrics from “I can’t do this alone” (Verse 1) to “You rescued me” (Outro) mirrors the journey of salvation. It starts with desperation and ends with the peace of being pulled from the waves.
