Child of Heaven is a special Christmas metal release for All Glory Worshipcore. We often associate Christmas with soft carols and gentle snow, but the reality of the Incarnation, God becoming flesh, is one of the most earth-shattering events in history.
I wanted to create a seasonal metalcore rendition of one of the most important days in our faith. This isn’t just a cover; it’s an original worship track that blends nostalgic, but subtle, Christmas bells with the crushing weight of metalcore to tell the story of Christ’s birth.
The King has come. And He deserves our loudest praise.

📖 Scripture Inspiration
This song is a journey through the biblical narrative of the Nativity. It pulls directly from the Gospels and the prophecies of Isaiah to paint a full picture of the Messiah.
- The Announcement (Luke 2:10-11):

Child of Heaven is my attempt to capture the awe of the Nativity. The lyrics trace the timeline from the “Silent Night” in Bethlehem to the arrival of the Wise Men, culminating in the realization that this baby is the Mighty God.
This song represents:
- The Humility: A King born in a humble stall.
- The Glory: Angels tearing open the sky to announce Him.
- The Fulfillment: The “Word made flesh” fulfilling ancient prophecy.
I felt it was appropriate to share the story of Christ’s birth not just with softness, but with power. The screams of “GLORY!” represent the overwhelming joy that cannot be contained.

This song was born out of a desire to see the heavy music community represented during Christmas. I love the classics, but I wanted to write something that captured the intensity of the Gospel message.
